The sun came out on Saturday and while we started at near freezing on the thermometer, this was a great day to further test out the route of the Rotary Rivers and Ridges Ride.
Both the Lapwai Loop (50 milers) and the century riders will encounter this gate. It stands between the old highway running out to Arrow Bridge, where we want to go, and Spalding park where I hope riders stopped to enjoy the Nez Perce Historical Museum.
This darn gate is a bit too low to crouch under, so you’ll need to do what Gerard is doing here:
Subscribe to this blog to keep up with what’s going on for the Rotary Rivers and Ridges Ride. Hey, and maybe we can get the park ranger to open the gate for a couple of ours on Sept. 27th.
